Gregory Kosin, president of Greater Illinois Title Company, was recently honored at the 130TH Annual Inaugural of the Chicago Association of Realtors as the 2013 Affiliate of the Year.
The award recognizes the outstanding contributions of an affiliate member of CAR to the Chicagoland real estate community by demonstrating ongoing leadership, involvement in civic oriented initiatives and prominent support of the association’s committees and programs.
Kosin, a longtime supporter of Chicago’s real estate industry, has been a title insurance professional for more than 30 years. He helped found GIT in 1985. Kosin served three terms on the CAR Board of Directors, served on numerous committees and recently chaired the Good Neighbor Awards Advisory Group.
Kosin also served as president of the Illinois Land Title Association for two terms (1993-1994) and is past president of the American Land Title Association (2006-2007). He is chair of the ALTA Government Affairs Committee.
