Kraus-Anderson completed renovations at Ellsworth High School and Ellsworth Middle School in Ellsworth, Wisconsin. Both projects were designed by LHB Architects.
Ellsworth High School – 323 West Hillcrest Street
The $14.6 million project features a new 15,000-square-foot addition with a new fitness center and weight room, a greenhouse, and CTE spaces for technical, welding, robotics, agriculture, family and consumer sciences, and business programs education. Interior renovations were made to the classrooms, lobby, school store, concessions area, science/technology labs and collaborative spaces. The project included safety and security upgrades; and HVAC, plumbing, boiler, and electrical system improvements. Site improvements also included new parking lots, sidewalks and landscaping.
Ellsworth Middle School – 312 Panther Drive
The $6.2 million, 99,174-square-foot project included new classrooms, science and technology labs,
collaborative learning spaces and restrooms. The project also included enhanced safety and security, and upgrades to HVAC, plumbing, boiler, lighting and electrical system. Sitework improvements included new concrete walkways.
