Mag Mile Capital is pleased to announce that Cody Harper has joined the team as Vice President of Originations and will be based out of the firm’s Chicago office.
In his new role with Mag Mile, Harper will be responsible for originating and closing transactions for clients, providing capital advisory, as well as procuring new relationships for the firm. He will report directly to Matt Weilgus, Head of Originations.
Harper will create value for clients by leveraging the Mag Mile Capital platform and $5 billion of real estate debt financing and equity placement experience, comprehensive of all major property types. Throughout his 20-year career, he has facilitated the ground-up development and adaptive-reuse of more than five million square feet of office, retail, and industrial properties, and the construction and preservation of more than 7,600 multifamily apartment units nationally.
Harper earned an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a BBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and an International Business specialization from the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology. He began his career in New York City at Ernst & Young in Real Estate Advisory Services. He is also a licensed Real Estate Managing Broker in Illinois.
