Mid-America Real Estate Corporation’s investment sales team recently brokered the sale of The Shops of Uptown located in Park Ridge. The 70,402-sqaure-foot center was purchased by Cincinnati-based Phillips Edison-ARC REIT for $27 million.

The Shops of Uptown is located at the northwest corner of Northwest Highway and Touhy Avenue. The center is anchored by Trader Joe’s and features national retailers including Jos. A. Bank, Chico’s, LensCrafters Optique, Houlihan’s, Jason’s Deli and Noodles & Company.

Joe Girardi and Mike George of Mid-America Real Estate Corporation were the exclusive brokers in the transaction on behalf of the seller, a joint venture of Dallas-based Benchmark Opportunity Partners LLC, formerly known as P.O’B Montgomery, and Boston-based Long Wharf Real Estate Partners.
