Despite the struggling economy, Carmel, Ind.-based Pedcor Companies is successfully filling an upscale retail center in its hometown.
The company’s latest success comes as three retail stores prepare to open this October in the Carmel City Center in Carmel, Ind.: Addendum Gallery, Brides of Carmel and Uber Boutique.
Addendum Gallery specializes in hand-crafted art pieces, gifts and jewelry. Brides of Carmel carries designer bridal gowns. Uber Boutique is a lifestyle store with a mix of both home and fashion pieces.
“We are pleased to announce the openings of Addendum Gallery, Brides of Carmel and Uber Boutique. As independent specialty retailers, they are a perfect fit for the vision of the development,” said Melissa Averitt, vice president and director of marketing and sales at Pedcor.
Addendum, Brides of Carmel and Uber are the latest additions to the Carmel City Center retail development. Currently, restaurant Holy Cow, Cupcakes! is already open as well as service tenants Daphney Allen Skincare, Keller Interactive Media and The Next Step Fitness. In November, three additional restaurants will open in Carmel City Center, divvy, Eggshell Bistro and Mangia!. Authentic Sports Collectibles will also open in November, and Hubbard & Cravens will open in the spring of 2012. In addition, Pedcor is in various stages of lease negotiations with other restaurant, retail and service concepts, including an upscale tavern and a wine retailer.
