Principle Construction hires eight new professionals

Principle Construction Corp. has hired eight new professionals in response to the demand the firm is experiencing in the Chicagoland industrial design and construction market. The powerhouse construction firm has added professionals to their project management and field supervision operations to respond to the increased demand.

John S. Cahill is joining the Principle team as a senior project manager in its Rosemont office. Mr. Cahill brings more than 35 years of experience building large-scale headquarters buildings, warehouses, medical office buildings, restaurants, tenant interiors and more. He will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the design, budget and schedule management of a variety of projects. 

Also joining the Principle team as a senior project manager is Jim Greco. Mr. Greco has worked on a wide array of office buildings, medical offices, religious and educational facilities, industrial buildings, and senior living facilities throughout his 40-year career.

New Project Manager Patrick Byrne also joined the team. He has more than 15 years of experience working at Chicago area construction companies. He also earned a degree in information technology from DePaul University in 2014, giving him the ability to lead IT-related aspects of the firm. 

Leslie Smedberg joins the team as a project accountant. She has worked in billing and processing for more than 15 years and brings a great deal of experience in AIA billing and Chicago Title lien waivers.
