Andy Robbins and Al Rodenbostel, the principals and founders of ARCORE Real Estate Group, along with Anthony Campagni, who helped establish RKF’s presence in Chicago, have joined together in forming A ▪ R ▪ C Real Estate Group. The firm has been created to serve new and existing retail clients in Chicago and nationally, and to provide comprehensive coverage of both urban and suburban markets.
“The formation of A ▪ R ▪ C represents the joining together of three like-minded retail professionals along with an established team of brokers we’ve individually and collectively been working with for years,” said Rodenbostel.
Robbins and Rodenbostel formed ARCORE in 2011 to specialize in retail brokerage services. Over the last eight years they have built a team offering services that include landlord and tenant representation, market research as well as investment and acquisition services. In forming A ▪ R ▪ C, the team significantly expands its platform by adding extensive urban tenant and landlord representation.
The combined team will boast an extensive client base that will primarily include owners and landlords throughout Illinois, Wisconsin and Indiana. Tenant clients include Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza, Apple, Destination Pet, Fresh Thyme Farmer’s Market, Panera Bread, Roti Modern Mediterranean, Tesla, Velvet Taco, Verizon Wireless and many more. A ▪ R ▪ C will continue in ARCORE’s place as a member of the Realty Resources national commercial retail real estate alliance.
“The name A ▪ R ▪ C pays tribute to the firm Al and Andy established and have successfully operated since 2011,” Campagni said. “At the same time, the combination of the letters recognize our initials, demonstrating how the three of us have come together to form this new company.”
Campagni has an established expertise in urban retail real estate and over the course of his career has held leadership positions at his past firms. He has a track record of developing retail trade areas and making impactful contributions to Chicago’s neighborhoods. Among his most significant accomplishments include the relocation of Apple’s Chicago flagship location from 679 North Michigan Avenue to 401 North Michigan Avenue. He has well-established relationships with owners and developers, including Acadia Realty Trust, Angelo, Gordon & Co., CIM Group, Friedman Properties, L3 Capital, Newcastle Limited and Oxford Capital Group, amongst others.
Cooper Annenberg and Elan Rasansky, who previously worked with Campagni, will also join A ▪ R ▪ C, along with the full ARCORE team.
“This is an exciting venture, to establish a premiere retail real estate services firm whose principals and team members have worked creatively and passionately with clients to provide proven real estate-oriented solutions,” said Robbins.
