Livonia, Mich.-based Schostak Brothers & Company and Bloomfield Hills, Mich.-based REI Investment Group, Inc., will unveil plans for Phase 2 of their joint-venture, the mixed-use commercial and residential development Northville Park Place, during a June 25 ground-breaking ceremony in Northville, Mich.

After recently completing the 100,000-square-foot Phase 1 for the new University of Michigan Northville Health Center at Northville Park Place, Schostak Brothers & Company and REI Investment Group are beginning construction of Phase 2, which will include 22 acres of the project’s total 82 acres of land at the southwest corner of 7 Mile and Haggerty.

Phase 2 construction — 65,000 square feet — is scheduled for completion by mid-January of 2015, with interior tenant build-outs occurring through the first quarter of 2015. New businesses committed to Phase 2 include Granite City Food & Brewery, Rusty Bucket, Sherwin Williams, BurgerFi, Chipotle and Jimmy John’s.

The property, which will be directly connected via bike paths to the future Northville Township Park, will feature amenities that include water ponds with floating fountains, an elevated waterfall, walkable paths, a gathering area and outdoor seating throughout the property.

The groundbreaking event will be hosted on the land at 7 Mile and Haggerty Road and will be attended by business partners of both Schostak Brothers & Company and REI Investment Group.
