Bell Works Chicagoland, “Metroburb” – or suburban metropolis – blending offices, retail, dining and hospitality, continues its leasing momentum with seven unique new businesses and one office space expansion.
The recent additions to the development in the Chicago suburb of Hoffman Estates include a global medical device and solutions provider, an indoor golf facility, an interactive gaming and entertainment experience, an Indonesian specialty retailer, a video installation gallery, a local media company and a French-inspired gluten-free bakery.

Convergint, a global service-based systems integrator that designs, installs and maintains electronic security, fire alarm, life safety and building automation systems, has expanded its footprint at Bell Works Chicagoland from approximately 65,000 square feet to 92,400 square feet. The expansion includes both traditional office and warehouse space and follows the company’s 2024 announcement of relocating its headquarters to Bell Works Chicagoland.
Swing Loose, a 5,150-square-foot golf facility offers golfers of all ages and skill levels the chance to sharpen their game year-round. Scheduled to open in February, the cutting-edge facility features multiple bays equipped with TrackMan simulators, providing access to meticulous virtual recreations of world-renowned golf courses. Game Night Out, a 3,200-square-foot entertainment venue providing private, host-guided game nights for groups, is set to open its second location in spring 2025. Offering a fresh take on classic party and parlor games, the venue creates unforgettable experiences for celebrations, team outings and social gatherings. Each private room features thoughtfully designed accommodations with a welcoming feel, including a cozy living room setup and a kitchen-inspired area with ample space for your group to enjoy food and beverages.
In addition to welcoming traditional tenants over the past five years, Bell Works Chicagoland has seen robust success with its pop-up lease model, offering businesses and organizations a flexible entry point without the commitment of a full-scale space. This approach is ideal for individuals and brands looking to test new markets, boost visibility or establish a temporary workspace. With adaptable, short-term leasing options, Bell Works has already attracted a diverse range of tenants, enhancing the campus’s dynamic ecosystem.
LeGenda, a Chicago-based brand founded in 2021 by Tasya Hardono and Hardy Kadarman, is set to open its 600-square-foot pop-up storefront in February. The concept aims to showcase Indonesia’s rich cultural heritage through handmade crafts, snacks and beverages, while also offering educational experiences for those curious about the country’s traditions.
Cameos of Street Life is a start-up business slated to open in a 440-square-foot pop-up storefront in March. Founded by Peter Schwartz, the space will be used to create video installations centered on city streets. Schwartz plans to showcase these installations to gallery owners and event planners, with the goal of securing commissions for similar work in clients’ spaces.
Jason Stallard, a local to the northwest suburbs, has also joined the Bell Works Chicagoland tenant community with a 520-square-foot pop-up space that serves as the home of Love Local Media Agency and the Love Local studio. From this space, Jason amplifies the stories of local people, businesses and nonprofits through video production and podcasting.
Rounding out the new pop-up spaces is Musing Baker, a French-inspired gluten-free patisserie specializing in handcrafted pastries, cakes, cookies and tarts. In its 560-square-foot space, the bakery produces small-batch creations using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The menu highlights seasonal fruits while keeping fan favorites like the chocolate-chocolate ganache cake and raspberry lemon-cream tart.
