Stream Realty Partners’ Chicago office has executed a 37,000-square-foot expansion and renewal at Shafer Court, located at 6400 Shafer Court in Rosemont, Illinois, on behalf of Free Market Ventures, LLC (FMV) for Seasons Healthcare, a community-based organization with an ongoing mission to find creative solutions that add quality to end-of-life care.
“Our ability to retain and expand Seasons is a testimony to this suburban location with urban appeal and also the impact of the physical improvements we implemented,” said William R. Flatt, principal at FMV. “The abilities of the Stream leasing team were critical to this transaction, as well as to the continued execution of FMV’s business plan.”
The 179,000-square-foot Shafer Court was acquired by FMV in 2017 and underwent a substantial repositioning, including a fully renovated lobby and common areas, as well as the addition of a fitness center, tenant lounge and outdoor courtyard.
“We are thrilled to expand our largest tenant during these challenging times,” Adam Showalter, managing director at Stream in Chicago, said. “Seasons has grown exponentially since first moving into the building in 2008, and we are excited to continue to accommodate their continued growth and success.” Showalter, Jessica O’Hara and Patrick Russo with Stream represented the landlord in the transaction.
