SVP with Oak Brook’s The Inland Real Estate Group earns 1031 exchange award

Dan Wagner, senior vice president – government relations with Oak Brook, Illinois-based The Inland Real Estate Group, has been recognized by The Federation of Exchange Accommodators (“FEA”), the national trade association for 1031 exchange practitioners, with an award for his outstanding advocacy in preserving and promoting Internal Revenue Code Section 1031 like-kind exchanges. 

In his capacity as Senior Vice President – Government Relations, Wagner serves on numerous real estate industry and governmental boards and committees. He was also part of the Real Estate Roundtable’s 1031 Like-Kind Exchange Coalition, which advocates for the preservation of the 1031 like-kind exchange in Federal tax law.   

The FEA is recognized as the industry leader and standard setter for the exchange industry. Its mission is to educate consumers, provide resources to members, network with other professionals related to 1031 activities, and drive legislation for consumer/industry safety.
