The Clear Blue Company, a developer, owner and operator of workforce and affordable multifamily housing properties, Urban Campus and Core, an affordable real estate development and advisory firm, and Born Again Church broke ground on the Northview Housing Development, a 254 unit, 266,000-square-foot active senior affordable housing complex located at 876 West Trinity Lane in North Davidson County, Tennessee.
Upon completion, Northview will deliver 254 residences, a mix of one- and two-bedroom units that will be available to seniors earning between 40% and 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI).
The property will feature a variety of shared resident amenity spaces including a fitness center, a rooftop deck, walking trails and recreational spaces. Additionally, residents will benefit from job skills training, social programming, and wellness offerings focused on wellness management and health education, made possible through a partnership with Tennessee State University’s Public Health Program and Department of Human Sciences.
The project is funded in part through Amazon’s Housing Equity Fund, a financing program active in Nashville, Seattle, Washington and the Arlington, Virginia area to support housing construction and preservation. The Tennessee Housing Development Agency has provided $43.9 million in equity through tax credits and $53 million in Multi-Family Tax Exempt Bonds.
The project’s design efforts are being led by STG Design and Thomas & Hutton and construction is being carried out by Bacar Constructors. Northview is slated for final completion in December of 2026.
