The Counselors of Real Estate appoints Chicago-area professional as its 2016 Chair

James (Jim) Lee, has been named 2016 Chair of The Counselors of Real Estate, the global, invitational professional association for high-level real estate advisors.

HeĀ is co-founder and senior principal at Kensington Realty Advisors, Chicago, overseeing the firm’s acquisition, development and financing activities.

Prior to founding KRA, Lee worked with The Prudential Realty Group. Throughout his career, he has specialized in acquisition, asset management, development, disposition and financing in a wide-range of geographic and property contexts.

Lee received his Bachelor’s in Architecture and an MBA in finance from the University of Minnesota. He is also involved with the Urban Land Institute, Pension Real Estate Association and the Mortgage Bankers Association.
