The Shopping Center Group facilitated the sale of Westport Village, a 169,000 square-foot lifestyle center in Louisville, Kentucky.
TSCG represented the seller, InvenTrust Properties Corp. out of Chicago, who sold the property for an undisclosed amount to a joint venture entity affiliated with Hendon Properties, based in Atlanta, GA and Birmingham, AL-based Harbert Management.
Situated between Herr and Lyndon Lanes just off Westport Road, Westport Village is located one-half mile east of Interstate 264, Louisville’s inner belt line, and 1.2 miles northeast of the St. Matthews retail market, which is the largest in Kentucky.
Originally constructed in 1969 and completely renovated in 2007, the lifestyle center includes nine multi-tenant buildings with three two-level structures available for second-story office users. Currently 73 percent leased, Westport Village features a strong blend of local and regional retailers, restaurants and professional service providers.
Women’s apparel and accessories stores include Apricot Lane, Collections, Chartreuse and Tunies. Restaurant operators include Napa River Grill, The Comfy Cow, Hik-A-Mon Sushi Bar and Fish Market, Wild Eggs, Artesano, and Boombozz Tap House.
Health and wellness concepts include Pure Barre, Bend and Zen Hot Yoga and Elements Therapeutic Massage. In addition, there are many other tenants unique to the market.
The Shopping Center Group’s team of Blanco, Lynn De Marco, Lenard Williams and Mallory Ham marketed the property with the assistance and strategic consultation from TSCG’s local Louisville leasing and tenant representatives, Kevin Schreiber and Kevin Mayhugh.
