Marcus & Millichap closed the sale of The Shops of Northwind, a 20,416-square-foot, four-suite strip center in Libertyville, Illinois. The property sold for more than $2.9 million.
Brian Parmacek, investment specialist in Marcus & Millichap’s Chicago Downtown office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, EMPSAFE, LLC.
The Shops of Northwind, located at 1745 Northwind Blvd., is fully occupied by four service-oriented tenants and sits in one of Lake County’s most affluent suburbs. The property is positioned just off the intersection of Peterson Road and U.S. Route 45 and directly across from the 160,000-square-foot Calan Sports Complex, which sees more than 34,000 vehicles per day.
