Murphy Development Group to build Cambria hotel in Milwaukee

Murphy Development Group closed on a deal to develop a Cambria Hotels & Suites in downtown Milwaukee.

The hotel will be a 132-key, four-story building featuring 77 king units, 51 double queen units and four suites.

M+A Design’s Stan Ramaker and Consolidated Construction Company are the architect and general contractor on the project.

The total cost of the project is $22 million. The property will include a first-floor pool and fitness center, hotel bar and meeting room and an interior coutryard.

This project is Murphy Development Group’s second Cambria Hotels & Suites development. The first is located in downtown Chicago’s theater district.

Construction for the new hotel is scheduled to begin in June of 2018, with delivery expected in the summer of 2019.
