This summer, Quantum Real Estate Advisors will once again work with Habitat for Humanity and participate in their annual home build in Chicago’s West Pullman neighborhood. The commercial real estate firm feels passionately about creating affordable homes for families in their beloved Chicago and is excited to hit the construction site for the fourth year in a row.
Quantum’s partnership with Habitat for Humanity supports a common mission to construct residences for Chicago families in need. Each year the team returns to the same street in West Pullman, painting, tiling, drilling and hammering to help transform formerly vacant lots into a 16-home community.
“As a business owner and manager, headquartered in Chicago, I feel our commercial real estate firm has the responsibility to give back to the city that has been so gracious to us,” said Chad Firsel, president of Quantum Real Estate Advisors. “While we all love selling real estate, each of us enjoy turning off for a day, rolling up our sleeves, and getting dirty to work together in support of a great cause.”
This June will mark Quantum’s fourth annual home build. When homebuyer Aphriditie Miller discovered that she was the perfect fit to own a brand new, affordable home with Habitat Chicago she was ecstatic. “When I got the call that we were accepted to own a Habitat home, oh, I just screamed! I applied to find a way to better living for my family and now we would have it,” Miller said.
In an effort to expand fundraising efforts, this year Quantum is launching a social media campaign to request donations for the June 7th event. The ever-growing national firm hopes its clients, colleagues and partners will donate funds to make this year’s home build the most successful one yet. Other charities close to the firm’s heart includes colon cancer research at the University of Chicago, as well as EB research.
