J.C. Anderson has completed a 21,000-square-foot spec suite build-out for Glenstar at the Chicago Board of Trade Building, 141 W. Jackson Boulevard, in Chicago.
“Having a strong relationship for over 15 years with the Glenstar management and leasing teams, projects like these are very important. We know the expectations of the client and they know the exact product that will be delivered at the turnover date. We look forward to continued success over the years to come,” said J.C. Anderson project executive, Joe Maguire.
The construction team for J.C. Anderson was led by Maguire, project manager Larry Regovic and superintendent Jose Verduzco. Nelson provided the architectural services and Glenstar provided the project management services.
Located in Chicago’s Loop, the Chicago Board of Trade Building was built in 1930 and was designated a historic landmark in 1978. The building is widely known for its art deco architecture and state-of-the-art infrastructure.
J.C. Anderson was hired to complete a build-out to the property’s spec suites on multiple floors. Construction included the addition of meeting and huddle rooms, open office areas, private offices with glass fronts, reception desks with feature walls, break areas and new finishes. The completed project brings a fresh look to the spaces while incorporating the character of the existing building.
