Fein began pre-leasing at Echo Lake, its fourth multifamily community in north Houston’s City Place.
The 326-unit, garden-style property is delivering its clubhouse and first residential buildings in mid-February, with initial move-ins anticipated in late February or early March 2026.
Pre-leasing is underway as Fein prepares for the first wave of residents, with limited-time move-in specials.
Echo Lake is named for its 1.25-acre lake and trail system, which will serve as a central amenity for the community alongside large open green space. Designed by Steinberg Dickey Collaborative and built by Westchase Construction, Ltd., an affiliate of Martin Fein Interests, Ltd., the property will have National Green Building Standard (NGBS) Silver certification and feature two- and three-story residential buildings offering studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartment homes ranging from 556 square feet to 1,824 square feet. Approximately 40% of the residences are designed as one-, two-, and three-bedroom townhomes with attached garages, many with private yards.
Echo Lake will offer property-wide Wi-Fi, included as part of a monthly community technology fee, providing residents with a cost-effective alternative to securing internet service independently. Units will also have electronic locks, upgraded appliances, and custom lighting.
Located at 2002 Spring Stuebner Road, the community sits directly across from a Bass Pro Shops destination retail superstore and is adjacent to Fein’s existing City Place development The Canopy. The site also has direct access to The Market, a Kroger-anchored lifestyle center, and City Place’s extensive hike and bike trail network that links to the Spring Creek Greenway, the community’s 150-acre Nature Preserve, and its urban core, home to waterfront City Place Park, popular patio dining options, AAA Four Diamond Houston City Place Marriott, and activated central Plaza, which hosts more than 200 events annually—most complimentary—ranging from fitness classes and live performances to multi-day festivals and immersive art pop-ups. City Place recently welcomed the new year with a large-scale drone show, underscoring the destination’s growing role as a regional lifestyle and entertainment hub.
City Place is home to a growing roster of major employers, including ExxonMobil, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, HP Inc., ABS, St. Luke’s Health, TETRA Technologies, Expand Energy Corporation and Kelsey-Seybold.
In addition to Echo Lake Fein developed The Mark, The Canopy and The Belvedere at City Place, further reinforcing the firm’s long-term commitment to the master-planned community.
