Principle Construction Corp. announced that Alejandro “Alex” Sanchez has joined the company as estimator. In his new role, Sanchez will review project scope, develop detailed cost estimates, prepare project master schedules, assist in maintaining Principle’s extensive historical cost database and assist with pre-construction activities. He has been working in the construction industry as a project manager and estimator since 2010.
“Alex’s past work experience will bring a fresh perspective to our team,” said Principle vice president Mike Long. “We’re looking forward to seeing him grow his skills in customer relations and leadership at Principle.”
Prior to joining Principle, Sanchez worked at Harry J. Kloeppel and Associates as a project manager and estimator. He has completed many projects, specializing in education, hospitals and privately owned business projects. Some of the projects Sanchez has worked on include the University of Illinois at Chicago, University of Illinois, University of Chicago School of Medicine, Loyola University Chicago, DePaul University and Kraft Foods. He also has project experience in Indiana at University of Notre Dame, Indiana University, Dow Agro Sciences LLC and Purdue University.
Sanchez attended Oakton Community College and resides in Des Plaines. He is a diehard Chicago sports team fan, win or lose, and also enjoys paintballing on the weekends.
