540 West Madison, a trophy-class 1.1 million square-foot office building, has gained Rewards Network as its latest tenant. This announcement reflects an uptick in the commercial real estate market as leases are consistently being signed.
“540 West Madison is not only in the West Loop’s best location sitting next door to the Ogilvie Metra Train Station and minutes away from the Expressway, but the trophy asset also allows tenants to use their office as a recruiting tool to attract and retain the best possible talent,” said Jamey Dix, Principal at The Telos Group, LLC (Telos). “In addition to the prime location and the fully amenitized building, the space offers a fully furnished layout with sit/stand desks and spectacular views. We are thrilled Rewards Network has chosen to build a long-standing relationship with the internationally renowned Landlord, on top of all that the asset offers its employees.”
540 West Madison is a 31-story tower that features 40,000 to 68,000 square-foot floorplates. The design of the building has minimal columns in tenant space, enabling efficient office layouts, and floor-to-ceiling glass for beautiful views. Third Millennium Group (Ownership) recently renovated the entire asset with a new lobby, 20,000 SF rooftop park and garden, private ground-floor park, state-of-the-art health club, tenant-only lounge, movie theater, food hall, four restaurants at the street level, and more. Full conferencing services, an array of restaurants and nightlife around the location, and accessibility to all rail lines are just some more perks that 540 West Madison gives to its tenants.
“The past eighteen months have seen a dramatic shift in employee behaviors and expectations,” Ed Eger, Rewards Network’s CEO says. “As we embrace the new, hybrid work environment of the future, it is important that we provide a world-class Chicago-based headquarters. Understanding the evolving needs of an office location, we have oriented our new space to facilitate collaboration and cross functional meetings, as well as promote professional development and the strong corporate culture that makes Rewards Network such a great company. With all its amenities, LEED Platinum status, the location, and commitment to both its tenants and the environment, we felt 540 West Madison was the perfect fit for our company and values.”
