Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates Inc. has renewed and extended its lease at 10 S. LaSalle St., Chicago. The structural engineering, architectural and materials sciences firm will occupy a total of 18,292 square feet beginning in the fall of 2013, increasing its footprint by 3,068 square feet.
Greg Mikrut, Terry Mostrom and Kevin Donohoe of Studley’s Chicago office represented the tenant in the transaction.
“This transaction allowed our client to remain in a preferred location while accommodating their expansion needs,” Mikrut said. “We were also able to negotiate a significant concession package including rental abatement and a capital allowance to fund the full build-out of the expansion space as well as renovate a portion of the existing premises.”
Studley has also represented WJE in lease transactions in Detroit, Burbank, Calif., and New York City.
The landlord, The Feil Group, was represented in the transaction by Mark Baby and Ben Cleveland of JF McKinney.
