Transwestern Real Estate Services appointed Kate Gillette as Senior Vice President, expanding the firm’s Capital Markets and Asset Strategies group in Minneapolis.
Gillette will work alongside Managing Principal Mike Salmen to advise clients on investment sales, valuations and portfolio strategy.
With more than 17 years of commercial real estate experience in the Minneapolis-Saint Paul region, Gillette has advised buyers, sellers and tenants across a wide range of complex transactions throughout the Twin Cities. In recent years, she has done a significant amount of real estate valuation and analysis on behalf of clients nationwide.
Previously, Gillette was a Senior Vice President with Avison Young Commercial Real Estate, focusing on advisory, brokerage and valuations. Her industry leadership has been widely recognized: she received the 2024 CoStar Impact Award for Lease of the Year, was named to Finance & Commerce’s “The Power 30: Commercial Real Estate” list and honored as a “Top Women in Finance,” and was among Minnesota Business Magazine’s “Women Who Lead.”
