Weis Builders recently celebrated the grand-opening of the Cardinal Court Apartments, the result of the first public-private housing initiative for Illinois State University in Normal, Ill. The student-housing project that Weis Builders built replaces outdated on-campus housing.
Cardinal Court provides furnished apartments for almost 900 students. Each apartment comes with its own kitchen and living room. Cardinal Court also features a community center with recreational, fitness and academic amenities.
Thanks to an internship program, four students at Illinos State University worked side-by-side with Weis Builders associates to design the new student housng.
