Inland Real Estate Commercial Brokerage, Inc. announced the sale and closing of a five-acre land site in Lombard, Illinois, for $1.2 million. Paul Montes and Eric Spiess, senior vice presidents of Inland Commercial Brokerage, facilitated the transaction on behalf of the seller.
The family-owned property is located at 880 East Roosevelt Road. The buyer and developer, Beyond Self-Storage, plans to build a Class A self-storage facility at the never-developed site. They currently have 25 locations and operate over 20,000 storage units across the country.
“We wish to acknowledge our sincere appreciation to the seller, buyer and most importantly the village of Lombard for being collaborative partners on this project,” said Montes. “The development components were multifaceted and challenging with zoning, wetlands and access from one of the most heavily trafficked streets in DuPage County.”
Represented by Tim Miller of Great Street Realty Partners, Lombard will be Beyond Self-Storage’s fourth location in Illinois, joining facilities in Arlington Heights, Des Plaines and Willowbrook.
